Lizzie’s Wordless Wednesday

Bee drew a picture of her daddy after she got fed up practicing her letters. I love seeing things through a child’s perspective.  I believe that if we were all able to do that just a little more… the world would be a much better place!

Snow the very next day!

Almost one week ago, a lot of my town was under water. The next day it snowed. Mother Nature can be very unpredictable and very powerful. Always be prepared for an emergency, whether that means keeping extra water on hand or carrying your Epipen everywhere you go. It’s not an emergency if you expect it to happen!

My princess always has to match what I do, and I love it…I would NOT ask for it any other way…. But that does come with its own set of drawbacks.  This picture shoes why it is so critically important for me to follow a gluten free diet, even though gluten is not an issue for me.  As parents, we lead by example, and in my case, I have my fantastic little copycats watching my every move.  They are my reasons for living, my everything, and I owe it to them to provide the right kind of example to follow.  Me cheating and adding gluten only cheats the people I hold dearest to my heart.

This is Bubbles, my youngest.  She loves taking pictures with my phone of everything and anything, not to mention the countless videos. Her favorite pictures to take are of herself. I love the looks and the faces that she makes. I won’t delete any of them… well may the 10 or 12 she took of the tv. I love that one day these will be memories.  These pictures say so much about her personality!  She is my joker.  She says so many funny things every day, that I can’t even keep track.

On another note, in this picture she had bumps on her chin, which typically alerts me to a mild food allergy. I didn’t realize she had taken pictures of herself that morning. We never did find out what the bumps were from, and she has eaten those same foods again.  Anyway, hope you get a kick out of the pics. I know I do on a regular basis. Happy Wednesday!
